Christopher “Kip” Hardwick founded Keep It Powered Electric in 2018 with a clear mission: to deliver high-quality electrical services with integrity, reliability, and an exceptional customer experience.
Prior to starting his own company, Kip spent 15 years honing his craft in the East Bay with El Cerrito Electric, working under a trusted mentor and gaining extensive experience across both residential and commercial projects throughout the Bay Area. With a strong foundation and a passion for the trade, Kip set out to build a company rooted in professionalism, precision, and customer trust.
In 2020, Kip and his wife Jess—along with their two dogs, Mauer and Rubia—relocated to Sonoma County, where they quickly fell in love with the West County community. Today, Keep It Powered Electric proudly serves Sonoma County and Marin County, while continuing to support long-standing clients throughout the East Bay and San Francisco.
